TREATMENT DOUBLE CHIN LIFT (Anterior Cervicoplasty)

A double chin lift, or anterior cervicoplasty, is recommended for patients with excessively loose skin on the neck, for whom liposuction would not be effective. This type of procedure is particularly suitable for male patients aged around 50 or for patients who have undergone significant weight loss and have a high degree of skin laxity.

A direct resection is performed of the excess of skin and fat via a Z-shaped a11> a Z-shaped incision to prevent scar contractures in the cervical region.

Once the excess is removed from the skin and fat is processed a6> skin and fat are removed from the tensioning < a13> the muscles platysma by means of a single suture.

How long does the surgery take?

The surgery lasts between 45 and 60 minutes, under local anaesthetic and sedation to ensure that the patient remains in a state of calm and tranquillity.
