Our Pedralbes Clinic is a cosmetic clinic in Barcelona authorised to perform major outpatient (CMA), in the field of cosmetic surgery.

The operating theatre

It has an performance rating of ISO 7, at the same level as the majority of operating theatres in a a14> hospital of first level, with a system of ventilation at positive pressure (25 Pa), and with absolute filters (i.e. that is to say, with air which can be considered “distilled”).

It also features an electrical isolation system, a floor area of 30 m², an anaesthesia machine for administering general anaesthesia, a resuscitation trolley with a defibrillator, a state-of-the-art LED surgical light with an output of over 160,000 lux, and direct access to the sterile supply room and the cleaning room via two sash windows in each.

Doors airtight secure

Both the entrance to the operating theatre and its exit are secured with airtight doors of the highest quality, with the latter being operated by means of a photoelectric cell (without direct contact).

The inlets for oxygen, compressed air and suction points are all centralised, both at the level of the operating theatre and at the level of the offices for surgery in the clinic.

The operating theatre at Clinic Pedralbes also has in addition to an independent power supply, via a generator which supplies the electricity for that, independent of the rest of the clinic.

The surgical area

It also includes in addition a pre-anaesthesia room, a recovery area and a9> recovery and a room so that the patient, once they a16> has undergone surgery, can be accompanied by their closest loved ones. We use the highest quality surgical instruments (Bontempi, Edipec, Storz), sutures (Ethicon, Gore & Associates), electric scalpel of the latest generation, rotary instruments, ergonomic stretchers.

Waste is managed every month by the only company approved at national level (Consenur), ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

In addition, the Pedralbes Clinic has a high-performance Wi-Fi system, computers of high standard and subject to the Data Protection Act of protection of data (LOPD).
