“It’s been three months today since I had my nose job. I’d heard very good things about him and had complete faith in Dr San Miguel; right from the start, he understood exactly what I wanted, and the result has been brilliant!!! It was a complex procedure because he had to remove the turbinates, straighten the septum and, of course, give my profile a nice shape!!! “I had a closed rhinoseptoplasty under general anaesthetic with Dr Joan Sanmiguel 10 months ago. The post-operative period was completely pain-free but certainly uncomfortable. When the bandages were removed, my nose was swollen (and, to be honest, rather unsightly), but two weeks after the operation it was already looking very nice, and within a month it looked perfect. Now that the final result is clear to see, I have to say that I’ve ended up with a very pretty, straight and natural-looking nose. Dr Sanmiguel and Dr Alvarado (the anaesthetist) were both very kind; they were both extremely attentive and professional – I’d 100% recommend putting yourself in their hands!!”

Right from the start, it didn’t feel like the other clinics I’d been to – ‘Thank you, next’ – they gave me all the time I needed to ask questions and clear up all the doubts I had (and there were plenty). The whole process was brilliant. The operation, performed by Dr San Miguel and Dr Leher, was lengthy but a complete success both functionally and cosmetically. The post-operative care was perfect. “Hello everyone. I had extracorporeal rhinoplasty with turbinate reduction (a full procedure). Here’s what I can tell you: The operation was a success. General anaesthesia: brutal… Standard general anaesthesia causes dizziness… Nausea… Etc… They use deep sedation, which makes waking up feel just like waking from a dream. Post-operative period: Very manageable; on the first day, the most significant discomfort was a dry throat, as it was on the second and third days, but less intense… Days 4, 5 and 6 were almost pain-free… Almost no bruising and able to breathe through both nose and mouth at the same time without any feeling of suffocation. On day 7, they remove the splint and you feel reborn when you realise you can breathe like never before. Result: 10 out of 10, both aesthetically and functionally. All that remains is for me to thank the following for their excellent care and professionalism: Patricia, Eva, Laura, Miriam, Dr Enrique Alvarado and Dr Joan San Miguel.”
