LIP LIFT SURGERY
The lip lift surgery takes approximately one hour. Once in the operating theatre, the surgeon will mark the reference points, marking the superior and subnasal points (among others), so that later, using a measuring device, he can calculate the distance from the phylltrum and determine the total amount of resection. Then we outline the contour which will give us the precise area to dry out, which may vary depending on the circumstances.
When the drawing of the area that needs to be dried out has been carried out, the area to be treated is anaesthetised. Specifically, it is administered intramuscularly (like the kind that dentists administer), since it hurts less as it does not pierce directly the skin and involves also a procedure that is clearer and more precise. Next the area is disinfected and the patient is is covered with surgical gowns except for the area of the face. After about fifteen minutes, the procedure can begin.

The first part of the surgery involves the removal of skin tissue that is surplus, which will correspond exactly to the surface of the design. Then the surgeon will cauterise the blood vessels so that he can continue the surgery as normal.
Next, although depending on the case, it dries out part of the tissue of the orbicular muscle to achieve a better result. Furthermore, in a high percentage of cases, a non-absorbable suture is used, which allows for a more precise adjustment of the results and improves the smile line, thereby increasing the likelihood of greater exposure of the incisors, whilst ensuring that the shape of the nose remains unchanged.
Next, the surgical wound edges are positioned a6> the surgical wound with stitches very precise, intradermal and which are resorbed in about 3 months.
Once the excess skin has been removed, the internal stitches allow the wounds to heal a7> internal stitches bring together the edges of the surgical wound.
Finally, a continuous suture is placed in this area, which is capable of securing the edges of the surgical wound and prevents it from opening. This stitch will be removed once a week has passed.
Two patients in whom the result shown the result immediately upon completion of the procedure. The camouflage of the dots is complete. Step into the realm of normality something of a6> inflammation which is subsiding as the days go by.
Once the surgery has finished, the area of the scar is left exposed; however, the patient will have to wear a moustache guard, fitted by our nurse, and which must be worn for one day. Following the procedure and on that day, the patient will not be able to drive.
